Housing Crisis: MoCo Bets on Rent Control

Like many close-in suburbs, Montgomery County, Md, is faced with a housing affordability crisis. Change in the make-up of the county council and organizing by social justice groups leads to the adoption of a new rent law that seeks to stem rising  living costs without killing new housing production.
