Ceny hovězího na rekordu – ještě v prosinci roku 2021 stála hovězí půlka 99 korun za kilogram – dnes je to téměř 180 korun. „A to není konečná cena, stále to roste,“ varuje v pořadu IT Karel Pilčík, šéf MP Krásno, které zpracovává maso a produkuje také uzenářské výrobky. Půlka je řeznický termín a označuje půlku poraženého zvířete, která se nejčastěji vyskytuje ve velkoobchodu. Upozorňuje, že spolu s extrémním růstem cen půjde logicky dolů spotřeba. Ta se pohybuje okolo devíti kilogramů ročně na osobu a v loňském roce po delší době vzrostla. „Troufám si říct, že letos to bude o dvě kila snížené. Ta cena je prostě obrovská,“ upozorňuje Pilčík.
