How a Dinner Night Served Up a Chance to Meet the Mustang's Original Designer

Carol Ratermann had shared her “How I Got to Meet Gale Halderman” story with John after Gale’s daughter, Karen, had hosted a Cruise-In event at the Halderman Barn Museum in early May. Carol revealed that years ago, she happened to enjoy a dinner night out with her husband at one of Gale’s favorite local restaurants, the Carriage Inn in nearby Enon, Ohio, at the same time Gale was there dining with a group of friends.
