How a Georgia Son Is Keeping His Famous Father’s Delicious Tradition Alive
This week, Scott is speaking to Alexander Eisele about the recent passing of his father, Kurt Eisele. After training and apprenticeships as a young man in his native Germany, Kurt is credited with having a major role in introducing fine European dining to Atlanta in the mid 1960's before opening his own restaurant, now in its 40th year in Gwinnett County. There is quite a story here about Kurt immigrating to America and the number of chefs he influenced and trained. Alexander is leading the 2nd and 3rd generation of the Eisele family in keeping Kurt's Euro Bistro open and vital for their thousands of fans. www.kurtsrestaurant.com
