How a small but annoying situation helped evolve my identity

from Bloom with a Boom! Grounded by daily practice. · host Rebecca Schlosser

Can you think of a recent incident or situation that triggered a trauma response? Have you meditated or journaled about it? Or did you stuff it back into a drawer of your consciousness, choosing instead to blame the stress on this current circumstance? There is no right or wrong answer! In this short solo episode I am in the middle of a current situation that feels sticky and annoying, and which definitely brings up some of my past “stuff.” It also shines a light on some false identities and limiting beliefs I’ve been carrying around like useless bricks in an emotional suitcase.  Such as…..needing a traditional employment situation to feel worthy, safe and deserving of abundance.  Or that I’m a naughty rebel, and not a suitable tenant for a landlord to rent to.  Or, that I need outside validation to prove that I’m doing the right thing in life.    Big mic drop moment - it’s a blessing in our spiritual journey when we do things we want to do and we DON’T get outside approval.   What better way to learn that we can’t change other peoples’ stories. What are some of the false identities you’ve held onto?  What is your relationship with abundance?  It’s all in the daily practice!!!! How do I turn a sucky situation into another milestone on my spiritual journey?  Through yoga and breathwork, duh.   Come join me on Thursday, June 20th, for an incredible free yoga session where we’ll move, breathe and start to move the needle on our own built-in magic so we can weave the summer of our dreams:  https://purple-firefly-12441.myflodesk.com/solsticeyoga  Below is a link to the podcast FB group and my other social media links!  https://www.facebook.com/groups/859832058689723 https://www.instagram.com/rebecca_yoga_podcast/ https://www.facebook.com/rebecca.schlosser.5 https://substack.com/@rebeccaschlosser?utm_source=profile-page   Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss an episode, and let’s connect on social media since I’m always looking for feedback, new guests and new friends!  The FB group offers additional content and a chance to connect further :)  I’m overjoyed and humbled to have you in this community, as we can never have too many conversations about healing and blooming!
