How Accurate is Aging Deer? The HEATED Debate of Aging Your Deer

This is one of the biggest questions and debates in the hunting world, how can you tell the age of a deer? The rack of a buck dan be deceiving, some older/mature bucks may have bad racks, and younger bucks may look like studs. Many hunters and whitetail experts say that you can see it in their bodies based on the slope of their back and whether or not they have a big gut. If you are like us we send in the teeth of bucks we shoot to try and a get an age for the animal. We wanted to dive into the idea of trying to age deer and see just how tough it really is, especially while the deer is on the hoof.
