How Adam Bokmeyer Leaned On Parents in His Community To Grow the Game

This week Dan is joined by long time friend, coach Adam Bokmeyer! Dan and Adam discuss Adam's background in a family of Army lax players, and how Adam began to grow a k-12 program in Texas. They talk about building good men and strong leaders, leaning on the parents in your community, creating a welcoming environment and more! Adam Bokmeyer is currently the Program Director at Liberty Hill High School in Texas. Previous to starting this program last year, he was the Head Coach at St. Andrews University in North Carolina and was tasked with rebuilding the historied program there from scratch in 2018. He has been at programs ranging from MCLA to D2 over his 17 year coaching career. Growing up in San Diego, he was a standout player as an attackman and midfielder and recruited and attended West Point to play lacrosse. His other two brothers also played at West Point, one of which played in the MLL and his sister played D1 at Bryant University. He comes from a background of family coaches, his dad being both a HS and college head coach and having been a catalyst for San Diego lacrosse growth.
