If it is true that God appeals to the world through the people who claim to know and love God, how we carry and conduct ourselves matters. Are we showing up with God’s joy, recognizing and being grateful for all the good that is?Are we showing up with God’s hope, tenaciously holding on to the belief in a better tomorrow no matter how difficult things are today?Are we showing up with God’s faith, stubbornly fighting through every hardship unwilling to bow down to despair or injustice? Most importantly are we showing up with God’s love, for ourselves, for our neighbors near and far, for the world and all creation?How are we showing up in the world?I’m Horace McMillon.
