They say that people watching is the best in New York City, and Johnny Cirillo is living proof of it. As the photographer behind Instagram’s beloved @WatchingNewYork account, Johnny heads out every day onto the streets of New York to shoot the most interesting and stylish personalities he can find. He stealthily documents their outfits, strikes up a conversation, and shares the stories of every day people to his 1 million followers on Instagram and TikTok. But when Johnny took his first photo for the account in 2016, he had no idea that six years later he’d run one of the most popular street style accounts and shoot for brands like Tory Burch and Balenciaga.
