How author & coach Christy Freddo turned severe trauma into a life of love, health and abundance

from Bloom with a Boom! Grounded by daily practice. · host Rebecca Schlosser

Flipping the script on trauma to lead her best life, with Christy Freddo In this conversation we’re chatting with my friend Christy Freddo who is a happy wife, Mom, author, coach and successful business owner, although her story began in shakier waters.  She transformed a life of abuse, alcoholism and job burnout into one of love, sobriety and professional fulfillment, all beginning with a leap of faith she took in her darkest moments by asking God for help.  Her healing journey continued to grow through yoga, meditation and mindful practices, and has evolved into a mission driven career helping others to also transform their biggest obstacles into victory. In Christy’s words: “In 2011, in a span of six months, I freed myself from the gilded cage that was my high-paying, glamorous but horribly toxic corporate job that everyone envied, left a decade old abusive marriage to a seemingly charming man everyone loved and finally admitted to myself I was an alcoholic and got sober after 20 years of hardcore drinking.  Within two years, I had my own profitable business that allowed me to financially continue the lifestyle I had with my corporate job, had met a wonderful, kind man who I would later blend a beautiful family with and had permanently swapped cocktails for yoga without ever looking back.” Christy is now paying the healing and wisdom forward through her mindset coaching business and her E-book, “Create Your Best Life.” What’s also very potent and touching was to learn about how she helped guide her daughter through healing from the same domestic trauma they both endured from Christy’s ex-husband.  They are both thriving in life, and grateful for the experience that allows them to light the path for others. Christy is living proof that What a beautiful soul, and proof that we can all change our poison into medicine.   **Key takeaways are included at the end of the interview** To connect with Christy: For your free “Create Your Best Life” ebook, go to: https://bestlifemindset.com Follow her on socials for tips and inspiration : Facebook: Best Life Mindset Community:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/312843698315122  Instagram: @best.life.mindset Questions: Contact Christy directly at [email protected] To connect with Rebecca: Wanna start a podcast, but overwhelmed by the technology?
