How can I better hate? This is the daily surface blood gas with Anthony Amini. Tahire Mafi, hate looks like everybody else until it smiles. I guess the idea here is to look at hate as a friend, not as an enemy.

And we've been at it for three days now, this week. A friend we call hate. So work with hate, leverage on hate, maximize hate. Gilalanin, gamitin, gay-beganin.

Hate with, here's the acronym again, wisdom. How to hate, in a better way. W, the word. I hate and detest falsehood, but I love your law.

The Psalmist said in 119, 163. When scripture says, do all for the glory of God, then it makes sense to hate. That which is not glorious, but inferior. Not excellent, but mediocre.

W, the word. Aye, intuition. If in your core best self there's a violation going on, don't ignore it. You are a channel off and an instrument for change.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. One business person couldn't help himself when he heard some news about an abusive school official in a province south of Manila. He couldn't sleep. You know, just thinking about it, because someone had shared it with him.

And no one pressured him, but he approached me. And he emailed me. And he conversed with me. As we manage an NGO called to rescue against child abuse and trafficking.

Today, we are in pursuit of this man, this school official. And we hope to put this guy in jail. For he is apparently a serial student and teacher abuser and rapist. He did not ignore the intuition and he spoke up.

S, significant people. How to be better at hating? Well, be mindful of those closest to you. Listen to those dearest to you.

They know you more than anyone else. And God brought you together for good reason. If you will only open your mind. I just had a call this afternoon with a sibling on how to organize a prayer initiative on how we can better engage as a family in the coming elections.

There is alignment there as I sensed the leading of his spirit as I conversed with my sibling. So it wasn't just a discussion with a sibling. It is a spirit leading. W, I, S, D, divine intervention.

When God exposes you to situations that turn your gut upside down or maybe inside out. Listen up. Events and projects in the course of my being a speaker that led me to witness child abuse cases, online trafficking, institutional corruption, have drawn me to hate these things. And so this has become a personal advocacy.

So I consider divine intervention as good signs to decide and to engage on what we will hate and pursue as an advocacy. W, I, S, D, O, O, O, position. When people who oppose my efforts to solve situations I hate are known to be affiliated with the dark side. The more I am inspired to go on.

Let me, let me say that again. When those who oppose me are known to be affiliated with the dark side. Come on. Guys, if you sense the devil opposing, carry on.

And finally, wisdom, em, mentors. I gravitate towards advisors and mentors who grieve over what I grieve over. Who are burdened by what I am burdened with. Who hate what I hate.

When they encourage me to carry on I am more certain I am in the right direction. Mentors have helped me respond to moments of hate in a better way. For example, it's okay to feel it. I am reminded by my mentors.

You know, to feel hate towards something that you abhor. But the more important step is what you choose to do. Not just what you feel. And what you choose not to do.

As Dr. John Maxwell reminds us, it's not what happens to you, but what happens in you that matters most in life. I used to be more happy, go lucky if I can use that term with what I do. Especially my rest and recreation times with friends.

But I've learned the hard way. It can also mean being irresponsible and unmindful of my wife's feelings and her sense of security. So through the advice and counsel of mentors, the insistence of my wife, of course. But seriously, deeper conversations with her.

Not a few apologies on my part. I chose to change. And it started by hating the ways and the means that cost undue harm to her. To her sense of security, stability, value.

The bawassan keit papanuam pakkaman hidko. And come on, still, and forever we'll be working progress, but we're moving ahead. We don't choose what we feel, but we choose what we do or don't do. Amazingly, our choices can impact and improve our feelings too.

Better hate with me. I'd love that.
