Welcome to the Tweed Trends Podcast. Hey, Evette, what's trending today? Hey, I'm Evette, hey girl. And you are tuned in to Tweed Trends.

It's the quickest way to find out what's trending today. Welcome back to Tweed Trends. Before I tell you what day today is, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out in regards to Tuesday, being the wave of light day celebration. Thank you so much.

So many people out there said that they lit their candles and some people took pictures of it. And I'm just so touched, so excited, so happy. You just don't understand. Thank you so much.

Now, today being Thursday, it is National Payback a Friend Day. So I struggled with this one trying to find topics to go along with it. But if you had to pay back a friend, then these are some of the things that you might want to consider. So let's get started.

So let's say you owe your friend some money, but you just don't have it just yet. Here's something you can do. There is a website called Unforgettable Greece, and what they are doing is they have a contest out here, where if you have a passion for travel and photography, they want you to post your pictures, tag them in it, and then they're going to pick a winner. And that winner is going to win a trip for two, a nine day tour of Greece, with awesome, awesome, awesome perks to it in home cooking class.

They're even going to give you something to capture pictures on. So basically, they want to beef up their Instagram with some awesome travel pictures. And if you think you are that person, guess what? You can pay your friend back for free.

Just win this contest. So what you have to do is you have to tag them at UnforgettableGreece. That's UNF-O-R-G-E-T-A-B-L-E-G-R-E-E-C-E. And also use the hashtag UnforgettableInstagrammer.

Unforgettable still sell the same in Instagrammer. And make sure that you're, well, this is the big part. Make sure that you're post-essential public, so that people can actually see it. And you have until November 15th to get those pictures out there.

And who knows? Maybe this is going to be your opportunity to pay your friend back. Well, the trip to Greece. Let's say your friend did something amazing for you.

Like they showed you a really good time somewhere. And you want to pay them back. But once again, you just don't have it. Here's an idea.

Why not take them on a drive to see some fantastic fall foliage? I mean, why not? So there's this website. And using USDA forest species data, they map the thickets of fall colors that you couldn't encounter in the densely wooded parts of the country.

Now this is assuming that you live in a densely wooded area or are close to one, that you can actually see some of these colors. But I'm going to link the website that this is on. But the cool thing is that there is this portion of the website where it shows you how fall color spreads across the eastern United States. And it's an animation.

And it's pretty cool. So it takes you through the months. And you can kind of look at the different places. It's kind of sad, though, because I'm thinking because of the way that the climate has been so far this year that this is going to be a complicated season when it comes to people who want to look at these really pretty leaves that are changing.

But you know, give it some time. Give it some time. Take your friend on just a nice little nature walk and pay them back with some quiet time. Walk in the park, fresh air.

I think that'd be pretty cool. Another thing, if you just don't have the money to pay back a friend, maybe you can take a page out of 45's book, his playbook, and just do a ride or die move for a friend. And I know this might be a little controversial, so I'm going to keep this one short. Because I don't know that the president and Vladimir Putin are friends, but it seems like it when the president decided on his own with no input from anybody else that he was going to withdraw the US troops from the Curtis region on the board of Syria and Turkey, he basically gave Vladimir Putin a gift just handed to him, like, here, friend, how do you like this?

Are we good now? So if you're short on cash, maybe you can do a ride or die move like that and just do something great, spill some tea so that your friend can get the upper hand on somebody else, do something really just out there where people are going to be looking at the big eye, like, what in the world does it happen here? And who knows? Your debt may be forgiven.

Well, that's today's show, guys. On Tuesday, I went way over. So today, I was like, you know, I'm going to reel it back in and stick to the plan, you know, under 10 minutes. So bam, there you go.

What the fact that today is National Pay a Friend Back Day, the way how I look at it is like friends and money really don't mix. Like, you have to be really cool to deal with financial type stuff with a friend, because it's sad, but nearly 80% of Americans feel that owing a friend money is bad for their friendship. And nearly half of all Americans are willing to terminate a friendship because of money. So my suggestion, let's just all work on our own finances.

If you don't have it, then you can't do it. And if you're asking me for it, and I'm going to feel some type of way if you don't give it back to me, then don't give it. And I think the world would be a better place. All right, guys.

Have a great weekend, and I'll see you back here on Tuesday. Later.
