The Bible also teaches how to avoid the default. First: Acts 4:12 teaches there is only one person who can save us. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.   And that name is Jesus   Second: Eph 2:8-9 teaches there is only one way. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.   Third: Rom 10:9 teaches how we can be saved. That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
