Republicans rightly want to focus on China, but their unconditional support for unaccountable military spending, depleting our weapons for Ukraine, and funding the Middle East wars is what got us here. Moreover, the lack of oversight has allowed the military leadership to become an autonomous vassal for China. In other words, the problem is at home, even more than in Beijing. Until we fix our own weaponized government, sadly, beginning with our own military, any military buildup will continue perpetuating the same failed policies that left our homeland vulnerable to China. Also, I discuss the latest legislation in state legislatures and the need to end all mask mandates forever.
