Our standard for behavior is not what the world expects — like seeking revenge — but what our Father in heaven would do.2- Practice divine Love and Prayer (1:11–1:14, 5:46–6:16)Instead of cursing back or blaming, we are encouraged to bless those who curse us and pray for those who spitefully use us — following the example of the Savior on the cross: "Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (6:08–6:16).3- Acknowledge Our Need for Help (6:26–7:46)It's difficult to do this on our own. we must humble ourselves and ask God for His grace, suggesting the prayer: "My Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me. We must learn to ignore these distractions and not let them ruin our hearts. If we find hatred or bad feelings, we ask God to cleanse us so we can forgive just as we want to be forgiven.
