Hiya my beautiful people,What came through your mind when you read the title "People's voice while single and celibate"? Do you sometimes feel like it seems as if everybody got it figured out for you? Why should you think or plan anything when if it's not your momma, your sister or your friends, oh, almost forgot, the stranger at the grocery store or your neighbor, they all seem to have some advice for you about your single status. Let alone if they find out about your celibacy journey! "Do you have a boyfriend? Are you married? Are you planning on having kids? Are you looking or you're happy as you are? Have you tried the dating apps, meetups, group activities or going to a bar or coffee shop, church, park, gym, restaurants, book club meetings, cultural events, climbing the Everest...? (Sigh...) Now, let us all be clear. I am convinced that most of these inquiries and concerns come a place of caring but have people considered what I or anyone in a similar situation want?I choose to believe that there is hope with all these caring souls lol...Nah really.
