How COVID-19 Changed Our Lives for Good

Bart Édes is a policy analyst, commentator, and author of Learning From Tomorrow: Using Strategic Foresight to Prepare for the Next Big Disruption (2021). He studies the rise of Asia, innovation, the sustainable development goals, and transformative trends reshaping the world. Since December 2020, he has served as a non-resident Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, and was named a Distinguished Fellow at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada in January 2021. In May of this year, he joined the faculty of McGill University as a Professor of Practice.Born on the Canadian prairies in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Bart spent his formative years in the desert city of Phoenix. He has spent most of the past two decades living, working and traveling in Asia and the Pacific.
