🎸 How Did a Bon Jovi Kid Become an Anthrax Guitar God? 🤘

#446 Today's Boondoggle- Creating a Living Wreckage with Jon Donias of Anthrax and Shadows Fall. 🎸 How Did a Bon Jovi Kid Become an Anthrax Guitar God? 🤘 From Bon Jovi and David Lee Roth fanboy to shredding stages with **Anthrax** — Jonathan Donais has lived one of the most electrifying journeys in modern metal! On this episode of Today's Boondoggle Podcast, Bill sits down with the legendary guitarist from **Anthrax**, **Shadows Fall**, and **Living Wreckage** for a conversation that covers it ALL! We dig into how 80's metal completely rewired Jonathan's brain, playing his first live show at just 14 years old, and co-founding the powerhouse band Shadows Fall. Then we get into the wild story of how Rob Caggiano opened the door to Anthrax — and how Jonathan walked right through it. But wait, there's MORE! Jonathan tells us how the pandemic sparked the creation of **Living Wreckage**, how he found the incredible vocalist Sage King, and why growing up obsessed with 80's WWF wrestling — especially the tag team **Demolition** — is basically a metal origin story. This episode is loud, fun, and packed with stories you won't hear anywhere else. Is YOUR favorite band hiding a secret wrestling fan? Can a kid who grew up headbanging to Bon Jovi really end up becoming one of thrash metal's most respected guitarists — and STILL find time to start a brand new band during a global lockdown? 👉 https://vseeboxus.com/affiliate-program/sell-product?source_type=sales_plugin_af&slt=sales_plugin_af&productPage=1&referral_code=IR57074TWJ3O 👉 PURUS LABS: https://puruslabs.goaffpro.com/create-account?ref=billbailey%2Ftoday%27sboondogglepodcast10 👉 Purus Labs Discount Code: BILL1095 👉 Today's Boondoggle fans can receive 10% off their orders at dreemnutrition.com by using the promo code BOONDOG10 at checkout. 👉 Today's Boondoggle fans can receive 10% off their orders at TNT-Health.com by using the promo code BOONDOGGLE at checkout. 👉 Today's Boondoggle fans receive 10% off on orders from Pure Plank on https://gopureplank.com/ using BOONDOG10 at checkout.
