How Did Everything Get Here?

Where did the sun, stars, animals, oceans, trees, and even YOU come from? In Episode 2 of This Is Our God, kids travel all the way back to the beginning to discover what the Bible says about how everything got here. We’ll explore the Creation story, imagine the moment God said, “Let there be light,” fill the world with plants and animals, and discover what it means that God created people in His image. But kids won’t just listen. They’ll make sounds, answer questions, use their imaginations, take the Animal Sound Challenge, try to escape the Memory Trap, play Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down, and learn Genesis 1:1 piece by piece through Build Our Verse. By the end, kids will remember three important truths: God created everything. God created people in His image. God’s creation was very good. Then comes the Teach It Back challenge! Kids can teach someone else Genesis 1:1 and share what they discovered about God and His creation. And the adventure continues after the episode ends with a simple mission: go outside and find three things God created! Perfect for elementary-age kids, family discipleship, homeschool, car rides, bedtime, Sunday school, or anytime you want to make learning the Bible fun. Memory Verse: Genesis 1:1 NIV Bible Passage: Genesis 1 🎧 New here? Start with Episode 1: “Who Is Jesus?” In our first adventure, kids discover who Jesus is, learn John 3:16, and find out something amazing that connects directly to today’s episode: Jesus was already there before creation.
