The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. Inability to process pain in a healthy way John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,  4  who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. (NIV) 5. Isolation I Kings 19:3 Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, (NIV) 6. Spiritual warfare 1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. (NIV)
