How did you pursue purity in dating?

Hey yall welcome back to the Abide Podcast we are excited to be talking about a topic that really hits close to home for us and we hope that it is really helpful! FIRST LET'S DEFINE WHAT PURITY IS AND WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT PURITY SO WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE  First, in Matthew 5:8 Jesus says “blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God” so first and foremost we are called by Jesus to be pure in heart  Psalm 119:9-10 “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands 1 thes 4:3-5 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor ephesians 5:22-24 “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.”  WHAT DID PURSUING PURITY LOOK LIKE FOR US SPECIFICALLY WHAT SHOULD PURSUING PURITY LOOK LIKE WHEN DATING  WHY SHOULD WE PURSUE PURITY  Sex is the only act that we can do that leads to the creation of life. That life needs to be treasured which means it needs to be deliberate and within marriage, that means that a family is grown and increases in the number  1 chor 6:20 “for you were bought with a price.
