We underestimate the degree of influence we have on the development of the character and values and decisions of the kids and students around us. We often aren't sure how to teach the next generation everything they need to know to face the challenges of their future, but there is something foundational that makes a huge difference. The way we live, the values that drive our lives, and the faith we exhibit through our own challenges is the greatest thing we can do to show them a faith worth following.
