How do we love one another? - Audio

from Chiangmai Christian Fellowship · host Keith Welch

We make our way today into 1 John 3:11-24, a passage on love and our call to love. In all of scripture, if I asked you to tell me the passage we can best learn about love from, what would it be? 1 Corinthians 13, right? It’s the passage everyone knows and quotes and memorizes to define what biblical love is. “Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” It’s a great passage right at the heart of our Christian faith. The bible tells us that God is love, but it’s sometimes hard to define love, or act it act, and live in the fullness of love. Today we enter into another passage on Love within the scriptures that I think will go a long way at helping us grasp what it means to love.
