How do you Level Up? Be like Jenna Kantor

from MisUnderstanding Dementia Podcast · host Michael Chua

How do you level up? My friend Jenna Kantor. She’s a physical therapist. She is actually a new graduate. I don’t know if she just graduated a year ago or what but, she’s just leveling up in her practice, in her life, and everything. How do you level up? Do the “Jenna Dance”. I don’t know if you’ve been following her, she’s all over the news doing this fairytale physical therapy wherein she provides physical therapy with kids. She’s just going different hospitals; she wears her frozen suit and she’s just providing awesome physical therapy and she’s just leveling up. How do you level up like Jenna? First is letter “J”. You have to JUST DO IT. She can analyze and everything —wait for the perfect timing, but all she did is she just level up. The next letter is “E”. She’s EDUCATING people, she’s EQUIPPING people, and she’s actually ENCOURAGING people to be better at the best that they can be. I don’t know if you’ve seen all of her videos, she’s been going out just encouraging people how to be awesome. Next letter is “N”. Letter “N” is NETWORK. She is actually networking with other people, networking in different events like “American Physical Therapy Association”; different associations. She’s just networking and that’s the key there. You have to learn how to network with another people. Next letter is “N”. Letter “N” is SAYING NO. She has said no on all the things that she’s done, in order for her to be able to say yes today. That’s what she’s been doing. She has to say no, in order for her to be able to say yes in the future. There was a story in her video that she had to say no, performing, while studying physical therapy— In that way she can say yes today to be a better physical therapist, or better person, better performer. The last letter is Letter “A”. Take ACTION. She’s a performer, she’s like this awesome performer in theater, or whatever she does and she’s just taking action all the time. Like what I always say: you can have your camera ready, you can have your lights ready. You know I have lights here; I can have my camera there in my cellphone. But if you don’t take action and click the action button, it’s not going to do you good. Again, have a great day. Remember the J.E.N.N.A First, is just do it. You just have to do it. It doesn’t have to be perfect. And then our “E”. You have to learn how to equip, empower, and encourage people. Letter “N”. You have to learn how to network. Network with the right people. You are the average of the 5 people you hang out with. If you’re hanging out with awesome people, you’re going be awesome. If you’re hanging out with mediocre people, you’re going to be mediocre. And the other letter “N”. Learning how to say no. You have to learn how to say no in order for you to be able to say yes in the future. And last but not the least, Letter “A”. Letter A is learning how to take action. And Always remember the word, FAST. You’re going to do everything fast right? Because you want to take actions fast. Stop analyzing, stop slowing down— take action fast. First is FIND FRIENDS, that will push you to your next level. Letter “A”, take action, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just do it. Letter “S”, share and subscribe in this video. Share and subscribe in this channel. Share and subscribe in this podcast that we have right now. Another “S”, shoot for the moon because when you miss shooting the moon, you’re going to eventually land on the stars. Last but not the least is Letter “T”. You have to learn how to teach it. All this stuff that you’re learning, you have to learn how to teach it and that’s what Jenna Kantor was doing. She’s teaching stuff, she’s teaching people to be awesome.
