How EMS Sharpens Freestyle Kick Coordination
from Health Research Digest with Leo and Eva · host Leo and Eva
Did you know? Scientists tested 30 elite freestyle swimmers for 12 weeks. They measured real muscle activity underwater. The 𝑬𝑴𝑺 group showed clearly higher 𝒊𝑬𝑴𝑮 and 𝑹𝑴𝑺. Vastus medialis and biceps femoris activated much stronger. Core propulsion synergy weighting increased significantly. Postural adjustment duration became shorter and more efficient. These facts strongly suggest 𝑬𝑴𝑺 helps elite swimmers improve freestyle kick power and coordination. The study was published in the Swiss peer-reviewed journal 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒔. 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒔 is a respected journal owned by MDPI in Basel. MDPI is a trusted international publisher with rigorous peer review. The research came from Fudan University scientists.
