It was during that time of reflection that one small comment from her mother unknowingly gave her the “permission” she was unconsciously yearning for to follow her dreams. A few short months later - at the young age of 20 - Gabbie officially opened her ice cream truck, Scoops on Wheels.One pandemic and three years later, Gabbie has not only survived as a new small business, but thrived - expanding her business to now also include a storefront and multiple employees. She may be young, but she’s learned to rely on her instincts and community to continue growing her ice cream shop.
