How God Is Building His Church in Greenville and Philadelphia

What does it look like when God moves in some of America’s most challenging urban neighborhoods? In this episode of the Infinitely More Podcast, Pastor Jeff Bogue sits down with Pastor Corbin Hogue of One Community Church in Greenville, South Carolina, and Pastor Rob Rojas of Oasis Community Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to share powerful stories of how God is transforming lives through local churches. Both churches are part of Grace Church’s 30 in 30 vision as Affiliate Churches—independent churches that share a deep relationship and mission partnership with Grace Church. In this conversation, you’ll hear how God called Corbin and Rob to their communities, the challenges and joys of planting churches in urban neighborhoods, and the incredible ways people are encountering Jesus through their ministries. You’ll also learn: • What an Affiliate Church is and why Grace Church invests in them • How One Community Church began in the Nicholtown neighborhood of Greenville • How Oasis Community Church is bringing hope to the Kensington area of Philadelphia • The unique opportunities and challenges of urban ministry • Why church planting is a critical part of reaching people with the Gospel • How you can pray for these pastors, their families, and their churches The stories shared in this episode are reminders that God continues to work powerfully through ordinary people who are willing to follow His call. Here at Grace we are blown away by all the ways God has been at work and the people’s willingness to say yes to doing the hard thing so that the Gospel can be advanced.
