How God Works
from His24-7.com Hosted by Rev. Joel D. McMahon III
God worked concurrently, yet separately in Peter's and Cornelius' lives preparing them for their meeting at Cornelius' house. Neither of them was even aware of the other until God brought about this divine appointment which would change their lives and the world by introducing the Gospel to the Gentiles. The distinctive traits that both Cornelius and Peter shared were a love of God and a willingness to obey, even when what He required was very different than anything they had ever experienced before. God has divine appointments for us like this every day as well. Let's be sure and keep our hearts, minds, ears and eyes open so we do not miss these moments when God intends to use us in life-changing, world-changing ways!
