How hard is it to appeal a clamping fine?

New figures show that almost 143,000 vehicles were clamped in Ireland last year. Of those who appealed, nearly one in four successfully had their clamp overturned, while almost half of those who pursued a second-stage appeal won their case.How common is clamping, and are more motorists missing the opportunity to challenge it?
