How has COVID affected our youth's mental health and what's out there for them? (17 August, 2020)

COVID-19 has been devastating for all of us from both a physical health perspective as well as an economic one. However, COVID has also had a serious effect on our young people with a study from Headspace showing that 50% of young people's mental health had gotten worse since the pandemic struck. Our team spoke to both Headspace as well as Youth Opportunities, to find out what resources are out there for people who are having a tough time.  Remember if you are having a tough time please reach out for help, you are not alone and there are many services out there that can help you.  We also took a look into Adelaide's deaf community and whether we should make a bigger effort to learn Auslan and be more inclusive.  Wavelength, sparking the convos about Adelaide you should be having.
