How He Decides What's Worth His Time - Growth, Refining & the Sedona Bet | Harshad Lalan | Part 1

Growth is exciting. Refining is what pays the bills. In Part 1, short-term rental and boutique hotel operator Harshad Lalan walks through the three-filter system he uses before taking on any new property - excitement, ROI, and long-term fit, in that order - and explains why hitting his own bandwidth ceiling has made him start saying no to deals he would've chased a year ago. He also breaks down why he buys in markets with $2-3M price points on purpose, using capital as a competitive filter most operators can't clear, and the property in Sedona he walked away from despite falling in love with it. Part 1 of the Chief Milestones series on operators building under real constraints.Reach out: [email protected] Milestones is a video podcast featuring honest conversations with founders, parents, and investors about building real businesses, staying healthy, and raising families.New episodes release Tuesdays and Fridays.Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@ChiefMilestonesInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chiefmilestones/Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7HLDAe7SP3GnJSTOgAQqLy?si=6e9ac82be46f413cApple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/chief-milestones/id1861185226
