On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan is solo once again to breakdown the strategy of his successful 2021 rut hunt.  Dan talks about how standing corn on a property  closer to his home led to poor hunting, in turn , leading to him packing up the truck and driving 2 hours south to a different farm.  Over the course of 2 days Dan checked several trail cameras and used that information to decide what part of the farm he wanted to spend most of his time over the next couple days. After a couple hunts, Dan decided to back off of a popular bedding area on to a ridge system that led up to a standing corn field.
