This post got 500+ likes and a few hundred comments, and many seemed to agree with him. I, however, did not. Yesterday, I came across an older Gary Vaynerchuk video that talked about creating content, and kind of the opposite of what Alex was saying. There is not a "right" or "wrong" here, merely just opinions. Gary brought up a very interesting perspective on creating content, specifically YouTube content.
