Good morning everyone. Today's article was published in The Orange Journal. The topic is, How Ideas Spark When I'm Exercising. The subtopic is, One such asking questions idea sparked.
Hello my lovely readers, I'm committing to doing a 12-week home workout program 1.0 by Heather Robertson, Observing My Body, Emotions and Mind and writing about life lessons learnt. Today is day one of week four. In case you missed my, and I would say in bracket hour, thank you for reading and becoming a part of my journey, our life lessons, instead of my life lessons learning, it's our life lessons learning from the 12-week home workout program 1.0 version 1.0 by Heather Robertson. I've given you links in the article to all the weeks done so far.
So one is life lessons and take away from week one and two, so I have given all the links of all the days, five days a week, because Saturday and Saturday we don't work, work out. And then I've given a link to life lessons and take away from week three. Okay, well, okay. I thank God, myself and you all for showing up to my workout station by reading my story on day one week four after taking a two days to after taking a two day break as suggested by Heather, like a hundred or three weeks after the third week starting the fourth week day one.
How did my brain perform today? I recalled 12 out of 14 exercises. A couple of them were repeated each circuit and that's why I wrote twice. Inside outside curl on stability ball using tumbles, t-rays sitting on stability ball using doubles, butt kicks, courtesy lunch, speech skater, side lunch and press, v-squeeze, triceps pushup, mountain climber, butt kick, speech skater and squat and leg lift.
Today's exercise was for 34 minutes and I am going to use body emotions, mind, environment, relationship, ideas and concepts. This is my B-Mari model, B-E-M-E-R-I mindset model, B stands for body, E stands for emotion, M stands for mind, E stands for environment, R for relationship, I for ideas and concepts. My body was completely ready to show up at 5 20 a.m. which used to be my meditation and yoga time.
My hands graciously gathered the dumbbells and rolled the stability ball on to my room. My emotions were high energy ones, namely gratitude and peace. I don't remember the source from which I learned that being grateful and being at peace with oneself are high energy emotions, high energy feelings. I also learned that energy is one of the sources of personal power.
It kept with this powerful knowledge I ask and follow, answers to questions like, how can I be grateful right now? How can I bring peace to this situation or event? I was filled with gratitude and peace for Heather's commitment to show up every day. Heather is showing up every day to her work on station ride for the sake of her audience and offer her free sessions to the entire world.
My mind was clear to follow all the exercises in the workout session. Link my learning about different moves from various previous sessions and recall the names of exercises today. More importantly, I observed that there was no mind chatter about past or anxiety about future events. My indoor environment was clean thanks to the new vacuum cleaner that I got yesterday.
The carpet was vacuumed well surrounded by few orchids, kana and tulce, sacred basil, plants and family pictures. My relationship with myself felt authentic to keep up my commitment to show up. My relationship with my instructor, Heather, though I don't even know her personally, was enriching with respect and well wishes for the great work she's doing for people like me who are over 60. My relationship with you, my dear audience, some I know personally and others I don't, is enriched with prayers for your well being.
While exercising several ideas sparked for writing articles and recording Lalita's Morning Musing's podcast episodes, one such asking questions idea sparked. Let me explain. I started my podcast when I turned 60 to share my experiential wisdom gained during several major transformations in life and career. I wanted to contribute to humanity with the resources I have.
What do I mean by resources? I mean my voice, my ability to write, and embracing technology. I thought my audience for my podcast will be in the 60 plus category. I was wrong, but my major audience 59% is in ages 28 to 35 category.
The second highest, 25% is under 45 to 59 category. To my podcast audience in the 28 to 35 category, can you share in one or two sentences how many episodes impact you personally and professionally? I will do my best to come up with more valuable content. I would like to give a shout out to Francis Lee for the inspiring article, How I Became a Success on Medium with Only Three Stories.
