How Indian villages can become more resilient - the story of an idea and generous in-laws Part 1

from Two and a Mic - The Social Podcast

It is not often I get to talk with people actually making a difference somewhere in the world. I have spoken with some, of course, and that is one of the main reasons I do these podcasts. Today is extra special because I am joined by two people who both bridge worlds, business to charity, urban and rural, city and village, west and east, capital and agricultural and more besides.Saroj, with the generosity of her in-laws was able to realise her visions of a holistic approach to helping a village stand up and support itself. She spoke with the NGO Welt Hunger Hilfe, through whom Phillippe joined the story and immediately became a supportive voice in the project. Today two villages are living the adventure of this holistic approach coupled with the experience of the NGOs and the people on the ground dedicated to helping the villagers develop and grow their dreams. Below are some links connected to the project. Check them out and where possible, if you can support them, they would be extremely grateful.Thank you Saroj and Phillippe for your time.Enjoy!
