She and her husband are coauthoring a book called “The Come Up! Breaking the Cycle of Poverty and Closing the Wealth Gap | A Real Rags to Riches Story”, dubbed the Green Book Guide to Financial Freedom, exposing little-known and obscured information to those excluded from wealth. Ashonté retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in February 2020 and proudly has 22 combined years of federal service. She is a 100% disabled veteran who honorably served in the US Air Force for 11 years. Ashonté and her husband Marlon are the proud parents of three, and grandparents of two.
