It captures the dual nature of the prophetic voice confronting our reality. On the one had hand, it acknowledges the full weight and pain of injustice heaped on the backs of the weak. It acknowledges the brokenness of our current situation.On the other had it is simultaneously hopeful, defiant and determined that our current situation is not our final destination. For we have seen a vision of another way of being, and doing, another possibility for the human endeavor. And we will work and not give up until that vision is a reality. "How long?
