How many Heisman Trophy candidates are on Ohio State’s 2026 roster? Mark It Down Monday

from Buckeye Talk: Ohio State podcast by cleveland.com · host Cleveland.com - Advance Local

It’s another Mark It Down Monday, and as the 2025 college football season draws near, it’s time for Stephen Means, Stefan Krajisnik and Andrew Gillis to check in with some major predictions. In this episode, it’s the Heisman Trophy and Ohio State's recent history of finalists. Since Ryan Day arrived in 2017, OSU has had at least one finalist in all but two years. Four have been quarterbacks, plus a wide receiver and a defensive end. Today, we predict whether that run can continue in 2026, but with a bit of a twist. This time, we're drafting our Heisman Finalists as a way to make this a little more fun.
