How many stocks should you own?

Recently I reviewed a portfolio for a perspective client. This portfolio was made up of well over 100 stocks! I then told them this was an average to below average portfolio. They then asked the question, “How many stocks should be in a portfolio?” In today’s podcast we answer that very question. We explain why fewer stocks is often better and how, if done correctly, the portfolio can be less-risky than a portfolio with many stocks.
