How much do you know about brain injury? Many people talk about traumatic brain injury, strokes, cancer, and tumors but there are more! How many people know details about the others? Toxemia, M.S., M.D., diffuse axonal, anoxic, autism, etc. There are a number or neurological impairments that are brain injuries which are never discussed enough or brought to the forefront of conversations. There are a number of things we, in the brain injury community, need to bring forth to the public, to make the public aware off, and to build educational resources available. WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER AND HELP EDUCATE PEOPLE, NOT JUST US SURVIVORS BUT FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS, AND LOVED ONES OF THE INJURED. There are a group of us which are working on making a global resource center online for support, counseling and education but we all must stand together.
