On the 34th episode of the WhoDatJedi podcast, your hosts -- Aaron Svoboda (@Aaron_Svoboda), Alfredo Narvaez (@NOLA_Fredo) and David Gladow (@davegladow) -- are joined by special guest Eric Redding (@NolesAndPhins) to talk fandoms and fan service. Eric contributes to a soccer podcast, "Five at the Back," so the group delved into some sports discussion, specifically how sports fandoms can resemble pop culture fandoms, but the main topic of the show was a simple question with a difficult answer: How much fan service is too much? The group discussed which of the Star Wars films have more fan service than the others, how much of a back-and-forth the creators should have with the fans, and what constitutes "good" fan service.
