So, I wanted to go a little bit deeper and give you details on how I pay team members, but more specifically, how to determine if (and when) someone gets a raise or a bonus, AND how much they get. Now everybody on our team knows that when it comes to knowing how much to pay employees, there's 3 THINGS THAT HAVE TO HAPPEN for them to get a raise or a bonus. John's been with us for 4 years, and he knows that, because of the position he holds in the company, he gets a 15% raise in his pay every year, assuming these three things happen. First JOHN has to meet or exceed HIS financial targets for the year. Next, John's DEPARTMENT needs to meet or exceed their financial targets for the year. And finally, the COMPANY needs to meet or exceed our targets for the year.
