Prior to his work within DOT, Brett served as the Director of Government Affairs for the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) which represents a majority of the cruise industry around the world. Finally, before moving into the cruising industry, Brett represented the largest shipping company in the world, A.P Moller- Maersk covering all aspects of their conglomerate.
