from Cards Central · host STL Sports Central

Matt Pauley of KMOX joins Joe Roderick and Brenden Schaeffer on Cards Central 365 to break down the latest on St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar’s offseason injury: a condition called Haglund’s deformity. Pauley explains what he learned from his conversation with Cardinals President of Baseball Operations Chaim Bloom, why Opening Day isn’t off the table, and how the team’s plans to trade left-handed bats like Nootbaar, Brendan Donovan, Alec Burleson, or Nolan Gorman could change. The crew discusses how this impacts Bloom’s first offseason in charge, Nootbaar’s trade value, and whether the Cardinals might pivot toward other roster moves ahead of 2026. 📺 Cards Central 365 is presented by DraftKings.
