How (Not) To Read The Bible Intro - (5/5/21)

A man once said one could become an atheist just by reading the Bible. The reasoning behind his statement is that there are many things in the Bible that are difficult to understand. If one avoids asking the hard questions and tragedy strikes or a "smarter" person comes along it's quite possible one's faith might implode. On the flip side of the coin, if one attempts to address these issues but does so without understanding the context in which the Biblical passage was written, there will be even more confusion as one attempts to make sense of the scripture looking through a 21st century lens. So here we are, we're going to address the tough questions head on and go on the journey together!
