Rice on this week’s episode👏  Anne will highlight the oral connections with dementia, Alzheimer's and mental longevity.  This episode is not just for dental professionals but for EVERYONE!Anne has been a clinical dental hygienist for 35 years and is a speaker, writer, and dental practice consultant who has a special interest in how oral hygiene affects overall health, particularly brain health. She created Oral Systemic Seminars in 2017 and now devotes much of her time, focus and study to dementia prevention. She is a preceptor for the Bale/Doneen method, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Longevity Specialist with the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation, where she has also developed curriculum. She is a Fellow with The American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and serves on numerous advisory boards. She has a column in RDH magazine about oral systemic health and was a 2024 recipient of Sunstar’s Award of Distinction in the category of research for her 2021 manuscript Alzheimer’s Disease and Oral-Systemic Health for Frontiers. She has recently joined the faculty for The Institute for Functional Dentistry.
