Nancy grew up in Tampa, Florida (where she finally came back after 52 years), studied International Relations at American University in Washington, D.C., and married a prominent attorney from Cameroon in Central Africa, where she lived for fourteen wonderful years.  In the United States, she worked for The Washington Post on Capitol Hill, worked for a guy name Bob Dole, and was lead proposal writer for an international development contractor for USAID. Mrs. Hartwell published two plays, one of which was produced by BBC Radio and the other in French translation on ORTF(France). She has traveled to 44 countries, can speak more than a dozen languages, loves baking, traveling and entertaining.
