How Poetry Can Set You Free with Sara Rogers, Author, Creator, Educator, and Enchanter - Ep. 8

I am still vibrating with the energy of this conversation. I am grateful to Sara Rogers for weaving together the most beautiful words that captured my story and reflected my experiences of living in this female body. The theme running through this conversation is the power of language, it's ability to oppress and it's ability to liberate. Language holds weight, while it's something we read on a page, it's also a medium when we can feel in our bones when the rules are broken in ways that make room for intuition, magic, and truth.  I will be holding this conversation in my heart for a long time. Sara's words create beautiful containers for thinking, feeling and creating. This episode also feels like a celebration of the powerful voices who went before us.
