In 2020, she wrote the book “Here, There, and Elsewhere,” which challenges the perception that immigrants’ lives are shaped exclusively by the country the emigrated from and immigrated to and she is currently working on a new project about the intertwining of romance and religion for South Asian Muslim Immigrants in Canada.
