How REAL Church Looks

from PSALMS to God · host Ree Hughes

The first Century church, as described in Acts, did life together. They didn't just see each other on Sabbath for a few hours; they ate meals together, laughed together, cried together, sold their belongs to support each other, and most importantly, worshiped together. Luckily, I've had friends like this my whole life, which I credit as part of the reason I've been able to develop such a strong relationship with God. In my teenage years, the spiritual aspect of these friendships was spearheaded by adults. So while my friends and I maintained a relationship similar to the first century church, we weren't actively cultivating our relationship with God. It wasn't until recently that I met a group of people I could truly live this experience with. It was life changing, and I wish every Christian could have that opportunity. “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." -Acts 2:42 Full Show Notes: http://www.psalmstogod.com/2021/06/how-real-church-should-look.html References: Adorned by Adanna - https://adornedbyadanna.com Styled by Jah - https://www.instagram.com/styledbyjah Website: www.psalmstogod.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/psalms_to_god Facebook: www.facebook.com/psalmstogod7 Podcast: www.soundcloud.com/psalmstogod Youtube: https://youtu.be/W3s2hrSTHX4
